PreserVision® Eye Vitamin AREDS 2 Formula This new formula builds on the original PreserVision® Eye Vitamin AREDS Formula, replacing beta-carotene with lutein (10 mg) and zeaxanthin (2 mg) and adding omega-3 fatty acids (1000 mg) per daily dosage. Daily recommended dosage is 4 Soft Gels per day. Scientific evidence from dietary studies supports the inclusion of high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, lutein and zeaxanthin.1-4 Note that 2 Soft Gels contain 325 mg EPA and 175 mg DHA, two important omega-3 fatty acids. Compare these levels to those of other fish oil supplements. Talk to your doctor to see if PreserVision® Eye Vitamin AREDS 2 Formula is right for you.
